WHAT IS BEATLAB?
BEATLAB is the Triad’s premier beat-making, electronic music production and DJ workshop program. We harness music technology in an immersive experience for anyone ready to explore their musical potential and creative expression in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Our workshops introduce participants to professional music creation tools including digital audio workstations, synthesizers, samplers, and DJ controllers while building foundational skills in music theory, sound design, music production and performance.
Designed for both beginners and advanced learners, BEATLAB offers engaging, adaptable, customized workshops programs for youth and adults at any learning level, no music or technical experience necessary.

BEATLAB RESIDENCY
BEATLAB Residencies are immersive, multi-day creative experiences that bring hands-on electronic music and DJ education to your campus or community. Customizable in length and format, residencies engage participants through workshops, collaboration, and performance—building creative confidence and digital literacy through music technology.
BEATLAB CAMPS
BEATLAB Camps are fun, hands-on, multi-day programs that introduce youth to electronic music production, DJing, and creative music technology through interactive, STEAM-based learning. Hosted by recreation centers, YMCAs, schools, and community organizations, camps blend creativity, technology, and collaboration in an engaging camp-style environment.
BEATLAB COMMUNITY EVENTS
BEATLAB Community Events bring people together through music, creativity, and shared experience. Rooted in BEATLAB’s mission to make music creation and performance accessible to all.
